The Law of Attraction Explained


What is the Law of Attraction?

The best way to describe it is that your dominant thoughts and feelings, whether positive or negative, will find a way to manifest in your life. Quite simply put, your life is a manifestation of what you think about most or what you predict it would be. Want to lose weight? Be a millionaire? Be happily married? Then simply visualize it, and you will get it.


Before the septic in you dismisses this as rubbish, take a moment to think about your life and how it has turned out. Given your beliefs in yourself and what you think about most of the time, are you really that surprised as to how your life has turned out? For most people, the answer is no! Perhaps you have already or are invoking the Law of Attraction in your lives.

Putting the Law of Attraction into practice requires a leap of faith in “the universe”. People who apply this law to their daily lives believe that all of us have a connection to the universe, and that using the power of our dominant thoughts, we can generate tangible results or manifestations.

The most basic step in invoking the Law of Attraction is by paying close attention to your thoughts. By clearly focusing your thoughts and goals, you will be in a better position to start sending out clear intentions to the universe. The more feeling and emotion you put into your intentions, the more likely it is to manifest. Do not doom yourself to failure by feeding your intentions with negative energy, i.e. visualizing failure or fear of failure.

Law of Attraction is to set clear and compelling goals and visualize them over and over again. This is the best way to tip the Law of Attraction in your favor and greatly diminishes that niggling little voice of self-doubt as well. Take whatever coincidences in your life that are related to your goal as opportunities the universe has thrown your way and see where the path leads!



  Getting What You Want

Do you want to be richer? Have more friends? Have more good things happen to you? The Law of Attraction is a universal law that theories that we can create our own realities. Through the power of our thoughts we can attract things that we want, and conversely also attract things that we don’t want. By putting the science of the Law of Attraction into practice, we can attract the people in our lives, the money in our bank accounts and the stuff in our homes through our thoughts and feelings.

The wealth and prosperity that we attract is limited only by the limits of our belief. When we believe the sky is the limit, well, anything becomes possible. Our positive thoughts can and will break through that glass ceiling in the sky. When we focus on the negativity and lack of everything, we are creating a lesser reality. But if we instead focus on abundance and positivist, we will enjoy a reality beyond our wildest dreams.

The science and theory behind the Law of Attraction is very simple – you attract what you want. But putting it into practice on a conscious level takes hard work. Negative and limiting belief systems are deeply ingrained in most of us. It is the process of ridding yourself of negative ideas and self-defeating old habits that is the hard part.

There are three steps to attracting all your desires:
  1. Ask – Figure out what you want and how you want it. Visualize it in its entirety. Then ask for it. Simple, right?
  2. Believe – You must believe, truly believe without a doubt that what you are asking for will be given to you. Even thinking of the possibility of failure will mess things up.
  3. Receive – Be proactive. Grab onto opportunities that come your way. Don’t just lay back and wait for your goals to manifest magically without actively participating in the process.
